Revolutionary Ideas

  

There are times in science when progress can only be made by revolutionary ideas.

Nicolaus Copernicus made such a leap when he proposed that the sun was the center of the solar system.

Albert Einstein (The Nobel Prize in Physics 1921) did so when he told the world that the speed of light cannot be exceeded and published his Theory of Relativity.

Quarks also required a revolution in thought...
